Elena is a PhD candidate in Bioinformatics at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. Her work is focused on developing automated computational pipelines for natural product discovery in plants. Elena obtained her BSc in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Pisa on a full Honors’ scholarship from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, and her MSc in Plant Sciences at Wageningen University, with a specialization in Plant Breeding. She co-founded Progetto Bio[Tecno]Logico for scientific communication in Pisa and she is the Founder and President of The Good Scientists.
